Admin Interaction
Respect Admin's Time.
DM's to the admin are currently allowed. However, disrespecting the time of the admin may result in being ignored, rebuked, or even banned in extreme cases. How to avoid disrespecting admin's time:
-
Clearly state the objective of your DM. (e.g. to report an exploit or a rule violation, to request assistance or a change in rules, etc). Don't make admin guess about what you want.
-
Don't complain about things you know are not against the rules. If you wish to suggest a rule change, clearly state that as your objective. An even better decision would be to post that request in the #suggest-and-report channel.
-
Don't vent and rant at admin. Neither about something admin has done nor about something done by another player. Pretend you're giving testimony in court. State your objective. State the facts. Be concise.
-
Don't argue with admin via DM or open discord.
-
Do not announce your intention to, or threaten to "leave the server" and then still lobby or complain to admin.
General Rules
-
Discord nicknames must match character names.
-
Solo players must still make a clan.
-
No advertising other servers.
-
Try not to be purposefully offensive. Try not to get offended too easily at every little thing.
Character Transfer Rules
-
Transfering of any items or characters to Crom's Wrath server is against the rules. Chracter transfer is disabled.
Group/Clan Rule
-
Groups larger than 5 are not allowed.
To keep a competitive atmosphere that is not overly daunting against solo and duos, we have rules against groups setting up multiple clans that operate together as a single entity (See below).
General Game Rules
-
No thralling of the Syndicate Chairman (General) in the Garden Palace. Players found in possession of the thrall will be punished.
-
Thespians provided in the Player Market must remain in the market. Players found placing thespians outside of the market will be punished.
-
No clan can possess more copies of a "one time only per life of character" quest reward than the number of members in that clan. Additional copies received via any source must be destroyed.
Raiding Rules
-
No raiding ADMIN clan structures.
-
Only 5 people may participate in a raid attack. No more than 5 offensive parties may attend any raid, from start to finish. These parties can be from one clan or mixed clans. Groups cannot coordinate multiple attacks using combined tactics in single locations or different locations offensively with more than 5 people. (e.g. 5 people cannot create a diversion at base A while 5 additional players wait to begin raiding base B after the target clan is destracted) Clans cannot transfer looted goods between them in order to evade retaliation raids. Loot can be divided between parties cooperating in a raid, but loot cannot be hidden in the possession of a second apparently "neutral" clan. Multiple clans cannot "operate as a single clan”, but they can support each other as long as raid parties do not exceed 5. (e.g. Clan A can give bombs to Clan B for a raid, but no more than 5 players can attend the raid).
-
Clans and players are free to make alliances of any number or size and assist each other in all aspects of gameplay up to the point of actual coordinated offensive attacks which are limited to 5 individuals involved. All clans and players can aid in the the coordinated defense of other clans against raids WITHOUT LIMIT, due to prearranged alliances or by responding to general calls for help. There are no restrictions to clan or player cooperation of any kind with regards to defending against raids.
Raid Permission Rules
-
ALL CLANS must seek a raid blessing from the Lord of War NPC (in the hub) BEFORE EVERY RAID.
-
One blessing is required for each clan involved in every raid. The player that receives the blessing on behalf of his clan must attend the raid.
For example, if 1 player from Clan A, 2 players from Clan B and 2 players from Clan C form a raiding party, three total blessings must be granted by the Lord of War.
-
Clans may only raid 3 targets per weekend (Sat & Sun) which can be used on either day.
-
Raid blessings expire at the end of the raid window during which they were granted, whether they are used or not. They cannot be saved for the next session after being granted by the Lord of War, and the limit of 3 raids per weekend does not carry over to the following week.
-
A raid target consists of a single base, which is defined as all structures within a single land claim.
-
You may not raid the same clan until two weekends later. For example, If you raid a clan on the first Saturday or Sunday of the month, the next time you can target the same clan is the third Saturday of the month (13 or 14 days later respectively). This also applies to additional bases held by the same clan on the same day. Once targeting a base, you are not allowed to strike any other bases of that clan until the cooldown period has expired. In other words you can choose 1 target per clan per 2nd weekend.
-
There is no limit to how long the innitial base raid can take or how many times you may strike it on the initial day.
-
No foundation wiping. Wiping is defined as attempting to remove all traces of the base from the map to steal another clans landclaim. Not to be confused with “hard raiding” involving looting everything or killing thralls unnecessarily, or other things that people routinely describe as “being wiped”. This rule is specifically about removing another player's landclaim.
Abandoned Base Raid List Exceptions
-
Abandoned bases are those listed on the #abandoned-raid-list channel only. Nothing may be considered abandoned until it's added to that list by admin.
-
You must still get a raid blessing from the Lord of War to raid an abandoned base and raiding the structure does count toward your weekly limit, however no other rules apply. You may raid multiple bases from the same clan on the same day, or again the following day/weekend if applicable. There are no limits to how many players may attend and there are no restrictions of "foundation wiping".
Forward Operating Base Exceptions
-
A FOB (Forward Operating Base) is defined as a structure that IS BOTH within sight of your base AND has already had an attack launched from it against you.
-
Attacking and/or Destroying a FOB near your base does NOT count as a raid and does NOT require a raid blessing from the Lord of War.
-
FOB "foundation wiping" is allowed. You may completely remove all traces of the FOB and erase the landclaim.
-
Any base that does not meet the criteria listed above cannot be raided without a blessing from the Lord of War or foundation wiped. Illegal raiding of a structure that is assumed to be a FOB but does not meet the criteria above may result in a ban.

-

-
Any theft from bases that can not naturally be entered through jumping, climbing, looking through windows or other INTENDED game mechanics will be considered a violation of raiding rules and will result in a ban. Theft, while allowed 24/7, must be done using INTENDED game mechanics. Be prepared to explain your methods should the need arise.
